Description

The NDE Wave & Image Processor software application was created to provide a state-of-the-art, comprehensive, integrated science-based software tool for advanced visualization, processing, and analysis of NDE and Health Monitoring waveform- and image-based data.  The advantage of this approach is that the user has access to complete post-processing capability within one tool. Although the software is wholly focused on the NDE professional, there is nothing to prevent it from being used for any other RF signal or image processing and analysis application.  The capabilities are provided in a user-friendly, interactive, commercial-grade graphical user interface.  This software can be used within or outside of NASA, and is useful for cross-organization projects requiring a common platform for which to visualize, process, and analyze data. For team leads, this means simplified processing and analysis of all data types without the use of multiple tools or formats.  For other team members, this means easy access to modifications and upgrades, as well as the ability to use the latest SOA algorithms, such as wavelet processing.  Additionally, the author provides full email technical support and can easily write software translators for third party waveform data in order to place it in the proper format for import into the NDE Wave & Image Processor. (Most common image type formats are already completely importable.)
